Frequently Asked Questions

What does a school day include?

Our Academic program (8:00 a.m.--Noon) for Pre-K & Kindergarten and (8:00 a.m.--3:00 PM) for 1st thru 12th grade is our emphasis. Our Extended program (6:40 a.m.--5:30 p.m.) consists of an active play time, indoors and out.  All curriculum in the classroom will be a Christ-centered curriculum for all subjects.  What that means is that students will study all subjects with the understanding that God is the source of all wisdom.  Students will attend chapel service one day a week (Mondays) as well as study Biblical principles in their individual class.

Who may attend?

For Preschool, the child must be three on or before December 31st of the year they intend to enter that class. For Kindergarten (K) age, again the child must be five, or six in some cases, on or before December 31st of the year they intend to enter that class.  To enter other school classes, the child must have passed their previous class and/or tested with proficiency.

What will my child learn?

Each class uses age-appropriate curriculum to teach basic academic skills. In addition to academics we strive to help them incorporate valuable social, emotional, spiritual and mental concepts into their daily lives. We believe our mission is to assist you, the parent.   We also offer extracurricular classes during the school day that include P.E., music, art, and computer lab.

What is your teacher to student ratio?

We are committed to providing a caring, educational environment, so we have decided to maintain a 1:15 ratio.  That means a maximum of fifteen students for each teacher.

Do you have a ‘hot lunch’ program?
No.  Each student in grade school or extended child care programs will be required to bring a sack lunch.  Milk and juices will be available for purchase.  On Fridays, we will cater hot meals from local restaurants that the students can purchase if they desire.  You will be notified ahead of time as per the meal and the cost.

What is your dress code?

Since we believe that the outward appearance is important to our Christian testimony, we are a uniformed school . The uniforms help the students express themselves through personality and achievement, not outward appearance.  The uniform also helps the school promote more disciplined behavior.  Click here for a full description of the dress code.

What does it cost?

This will be discussed during your initial interview.  Our rates are highly competitive and very affordable for parents who value the benefits of a Christian education.

How do I set up an interview?

Simply go to the "Contact Us" section of the web page for contact information.  During the interview process we will determine what class your child should enter, discuss the costs and fees involved, and fill out registration forms.  During this time we will also tour the facility.
